Colortone approached Red Room Design to create an eye-catching advertising campaign for their in store presence. They wanted an engaging message that would stand the test of time (much like their product does) and with the ability to drive sales.
I started out drawing inspiration from their current radio ads which talks about Colortone being to wood what a good moisturiser is to skin. Sketched out a few ideas and landed on a winning idea. The key visual was born. A beautiful wood carved lady, applying her Colortone wood varnish to her “skin”. The supporting message ties it all together.
